Cairo International
Convention Center (CICC)
Located in Nasr City, 12 kms east
of Cairo Int'l Airport and covers a building area of of 45,000 square meters.
Its main hall or auditorium has a seating capacity of 2,500 seats and has
its own revolving theater.
The CICC is the largest and most
sophisticated conference center in the Middle East and Africa. The various
meeting and seminar rooms give the space and flexibility to accommodate
any size of functions from small business meeting of 100 persons to an
international conference 4000 persons. Audio visual equipment, electronic
information modules, voting systems and simultaneous translation services
are available.
A business center is at your disposal
for any kind of services required. The center is fully air-conditioned
and has a very large parking area of 1200 acres.
Alexandria University
Convention Center
Overlooking the Mediterranean sea,
covering an area of 11,000 square meters.
The main theater has a seating capacity
of 2,500 seats, equipped with an up-to date interpretation system. The
main conference hall is also equipped to be used as a theater and a cinema.
The second conference hall seats
800 persons and can be subdivided into two halls, each with the capacity
of 400 persons.
The third conference hall seats
600 persons and can be subdivided into four halls.
The ceremony hall, 1250 seats, is
equipped with a well equipped kitchen, set up in accordance to international
standards.
Central Management and delegations
office building is composed of 4 floors with 107 rooms.
Presidential rest house, situated
in a calm spot overlooking an internal garden, is in the vicinity of the
conference halls.
Press center is equipped to serve
200 press persons and a 4 language simultaneous translation facilities,
in addition to long distance phone communication, local and international
telex, TV circuits and radio transmission services.
Cairo International
Exhibition Ground (GIEF)
Located in Nasr City, 20 minutes
fro Cairo International Airport.
It includes a total area of 55,500
square meters a total area of outdoor display of 47,500 square meters and
nine display halls of various sizes.
The fair ground is a duty free zone,
where international fairs have been held for many years.
